Teacher needed for nude yoga class

As you know we already have yoga classes established at Shaktigardens. In the near future we would like to introduce Nude Yoga classes for those that prefer this form of teaching and excercise.

Yoga postures done in the nude can be liberating for some, having that feeling of freedom without the restrictions of clothing, and getting back into your natural state. Some people who practice Yoga regard it as an "interesting" and gentle form of excercise, but it is more than that, it helps us form a deeper understanding of ourselves and our bodies, it can also alter consciousness. You will achive a better sense of balance and control, and a new awareness of body, mind and soul. Yoga also takes us into a different way of thinking - as one's understanding alters and expands, so does your consciousness and awareness expands

It is highly recommended for couples to do nude yoga together, it will enhance sexual energies, balance the Chakras, and draw them closer together as they assist one another when learning new postures and meditations. They come together fully revealed unto each other, hiding nothing, giving fully of their mind, body and spirit to each other.

Additional life study models required

As we will be hosting weekly life study art classes/workshops at Shaktigardens, it will be good to welcome new models to these classes. Some have found that by doing this, they have experienced a deep healing process, they have encountered a better self-awareness and self-acceptance by modelling nude for others. At first there is a bit of tension or nervousness, but that is soon dispelled when they realise the artists appreciate their unique beauty and wish to immortalise them on canvas.

Bring your own tools and materials: paper, charcoal, conté, watercolours – your choice.

Beginners need only bring themselves and a soft pencil - we have A3 photocopy paper for you to use.

Limited numbers of easel boards are available so please indicate if you are coming.

Coffee, tea, help and moral support will be provided.

Cost will depend on numbers but will be a maximum of R60 per person per session.

Naturist Gathering Confirmed

Another interested party and myself have been talking and will be working together to get this off the ground, and we are very serious about this.

We will make our venue - Shaktigardens - available for this. It is easily accesable from most areas, plenty of safe parking, private garden and decent sized pool with seating in one corner - a wooden deck has been planned and hopefully this will go up by the end of this month.

The first planned date is 10th Feb 2008 (Sunday) and there are already a couple of interested parties. Hopefully there will be more in the near future. We would also like to see others get involved in hosting socials. This is planned to be a mixed gathering for couples as well as single females and guys.

The invitation is open any man, woman, couple and so on, and the plan is to exclude no one. Please note that the normal naturist rules, as per resorts will apply, no sexual activity, no come ons, no harrassment or anything of that nature will be tolerated nor will drunken behaviour. No Cameras allowed! There will be no pressure whatsoever for anyone to get undressed at any point, so it will be the perfect time to introduce reluctant partners and curious friends to the lifestyle.

The plan is to have a braai, so bring meat, drinks, towels etc. :-)

Sensual Massage and Tantric Sacred Sexual Massage

There are many forms of sensual massage, some are blatantly sexual in nature without any connection to healing the mind, body and spirit. Adverts for this type of service can be easily found in the classified section of many daily newspapers. We want to offer a safe private venue for naturists to meet and socialise. There already is some interest shown from couples (as ell as one or two singles)who wish to come through to meet other naturists. There are times when people would like to go out and socialise with other nudists, but dont want to take a long drive to get to a resort. I am sometimes guilty of this, due to our circumstances it is often difficult for us to get away on a weekend. By offering a suburban venue, this might encourage newbies into the scene, who then might want to go experience some of the stunning resorts outside of the city.

We have plenty of safe parking, private back garden with pool. Please note - a strict code of conduct will be enforced. Those that are new to the scene are welcome to contact me (info@shaktigardens.com) before making a decision to attend.

As this will be our first meeting, we will want to discuss the option of others also hosting socials, and to discuss going forward with this venture.

Tantric Dual Energy Massage

Yesterday saw the foundations being established to introduce Tantric Dual Energy Massage at Shaktigardens. A friend who is an experienced healer (and tantric teacher) and myself have been talking about doing dual therapies on clients. This is a very deep, and energising form of treatment, where you will have 2 experienced therapists simultaneously attending to your mind body and spirit.

The feedback and response we had was awesome. Our volunteer yesterday said it was a deep healing process, very energizing, and yet, at times quite sensual. This treatment will be offered in a manner in which you will be comfortable with. For some, they will want to experience a deep sensual healing. While others will want to experience this to bring about a deep sense of therapeutic balance and healing.

It is a full body healing massage, starting by calming the client through breathwork and focussing on energy points, after which we then start with sweeping movements along the length of the body. We will alternate working at the head or from the legs. Being based in Tantric healing a lot of work will focus on the base Chakra.

All we can say is that you will be transported into a state of pure bliss and ecstacy!

This year is going to be a wonderful year of transformation, a year in which we will give you opportunities to step out of your comfort zone, to push your boundaries and allow you to play with Tantra.

With that in mind we are planning an exciting new development at Shaktigardens - which we will call "The Tantra Lounge" - hopefully this will be launched very soon. This is going to cater for Tantric minded people who wish to meet and socialise, to discuss what they have learned, what they know and what they wish to explore in this wonderful lifestyle!

There will also be a practical element to the Tantra Lounge, where you will explore with us the power of breathing to connect you with your own heart and the hearts of others. Discover with us the connection between your heart and your sexuality. Also practice what you have learned with a few experiential exercises in bodywork.

Tantric Sexual Energy Massage

Finally we can now offer this stunning healing modality. It is a subtle blend of techniques, some similar to those in Swedish and Kahuna massage. It utilises an ancient Taoist system of sexual massage to help free your erotic energies, balance and cleanse the aura and energise the body's Chi.

Naturists and Yoga

There seems to be a new trend among naturists worldwide, and that is to explore various alternative healing modalities and teachings, and also introducing these to the members at different resorts. One alternative practice that is gaining popularity is Yoga, and being naturists (nudists) this is being done "au natural". For me, there is a wonderful feeling of freedom to receive healing outside, being one with nature, experiencing the sun and cool breezes on the skin - this is an additional option at Shaktigardens, to offer healing and massage outside at the pool on a warm sunny day. You can then take it one step further, join a naked yoga class. It has to be a wonderfully liberating moment to join other naturists to pracice yoga outside (weather permitting) without the restrictions of any clothing!

Back in the 70's a book was published - titled "Naked Yoga" - if you lucky you might find a copy on Amazon.com - I am surprised it has taken this long for this particular form of yoga to become popular. At Harbin Hot Springs (USA) they were already practising naked yoga in the late seventies.

If you enjoy the naturist lifestyle and wish to join a nude yoga class, then contact us as we would like to cater for all people. If there is sufficient demand, we will offer this as an additional class at Shaktigardens. The venue lends itself to this form of yoga practice, our garden is private and we have a large room which can accomodate 8 people comfortably for yoga classes. We can make the facility available day or evening, and even weekends.

We currently have a regular yoga class on Saturday mornings, and do not foresee any problems hosting an additional classa for naturists.
