Dakini Shekina and Tantric Healing

Dakini Shekina Moondancer will continue to offer her unique healing at Shakti Gardens. It is a combination of Tantric teaching, guidance with energy shifts and meditation, as well as physical bodywork/massage. Please note, that although she works with sexual energies, and that her work does restore the libido, it does not include "hand jobs", nor is penetration allowed, nor any other sexual service offered.

All services offered at Shakti Gardens are centered in healing, mind, body and spirit, we create sacred space, and all clients treated with the utmost dignity and respect. We welcome all seekers to our venue, and therefore wish to emphasize that we do not cater for "thrill seekers".

A time of change following from disappointment

This year has been a very strange time for me. I has seen me not do stuff, it has seen me change attitude with regards to certain issues. Sometimes productive, other times not caring.

Last December we had our final Art Workshop for the year, and it was then shelved. I have had to give a lot of thought to this unique class of expression. My biggest concern was the lack of respect for basic rules, as well as a lack of respect for other people's dignity shown during these workshops. At times the Art Workshop was used as a platform for religious intolerance and anti-Christian Hate Speech, and this saddened me tremendously as it came from fellow healers whom I trusted and respected, healers who claimed to respect all peoples and all religions. The other big issue was the use of cameras. The one rule I needed to enforce was that no cameras would be allowed, yet some chose to ignore this and do whatever they wished to do. We lost numerous models and artists simply because this rule was continually ignored by one or 2 people.

There were other instances that were brought to my attention during the course of this year. So I had to sit down and reflect on the past year, and decide on the direction for this next year. It has been difficult, and at times I lost motivation and inspiration. Slowly different options became available, new ideas started to flow.

We have re-looked at the situation with regards to art workshops, one option is to have this by invite only. Second option is to have a Workshop for Women Only!

Other workshops for Tantra, Sacred Sexuality will still be hosted. We will be joined by Lila Tantra (from Cape Town) again sometime in July.

Rose will be leaving us in August to move to Cape Town, and work under the Shakti Gardens banner there.

Our resident Dakini, Shekina Moondancer continues to do amazing healing and transformational work at Shakti Gardens.

We are now looking at training another female to work closely with us.

Some of the options on our website will be trimmed, we have looked at some of our offerings - eg Sensual Sweat Lodge, and decided that it is not ideal to have something like this. So there will be subtle changes to our website over the next few weeks, some content will be revised, but the overall look will not change.

And so we have to move forward, we have to change, grow and develop. Trying to find the best possible options for our clients, and to bring the best in healing to you.
