Middle Eastern Dance Festival - 2008
Belly Dance Festival for South Africa
The Middle Eastern Dance Festival is proud to host the following:
Workshops with Top South African Belly Dance Teachers as well as Top International belly dance Superstar – Tamalyn Dallal, brought in by Belly Dance Babes from the 13th June 2008 – 16th June 2008 – hosted by The Middle Eastern Dance Festival.
Be entertained, as you watch the belly dancers perform. Walk around and marvel at the Belly Dance outfits on display. Purchase a variety of DVD’s and CD’s to add to your every growing belly dance collection. A variety of Middle Eastern goodies will be on sale. Let the food tempt your taste buds and the delectable drinks quench your thirst. This is a Festival for all, family friends, bellydancers and South African community.
There will be loads of activities for children – jumping castle, face painting – candy floss
Venue: Rivonia Recreation Centre, Achter Road, Rivonia.

Please view the below for registration of SA workshops – this is to assist the facilitators and the teachers are now able to know how many people to except in their workshops.
WORKSHOP PAYMENTS and REGISTRATON DATES
Attendance Registration dates and times for SA workshops @ Rivonia Recreation Centre:
13 June from 17.00 pm – 18.30 pm
Then you might as well make an evening of it and attend Tamalyn Dallal Performance Show at 19.00 pm. Tickets are R120.00 per person, and can be purchased from Angela.
14 June from 7.30 am – 8.45 am
Please note that for registration to take place, this form (MEDF Registration of workshops form) will need to have been completed and forwarded to us @ info@medf.co.za.
Upon registration, you will be asked for your MEDF reference number. The FULL amount due for all workshops is then required and payable upon attendance registration for the workshops.
Should you fail to pay for the workshops on the registration dates, but have booked workshops and received a reference number – you will still be liable for full amounts due for workshops booked.
Please note that when you have completed the MEDF registration of workshops form, and forwarded it to us and a MEDF confirmation number has been sent to you, you are liable for the payment of all workshops you have booked. Workshops may be swopped for other workshops (we will not accept any changes from 4 days before the MEDF workshops are hosted), but unfortunately you may not omit any workshop.
In other words:
Fill in the MEDF Registration form with the workshops YOU WANT TO DO
Send the form to info@medf.co.za or Fax it to 086 615 7449
We will then confirm your registration of workshops and send you a MEDF reference number for all the workshops you have booked.
You then need to come to the REGISTRATION of WORKSHOPS on 13 June (17.00 – 18.30pm) or 14 June (7.30 – 8.45am) to PAY for your WORKSHOP BOOKINGS.
All payments to be made in CASH on Registration dates
SA workshops are R120.00 per workshop. All workshops are 55 minutes long (if you do not register for workshop, you cannot attend workshops)

Please notify me should you be interested in attending the performance.

Entry to the Middle Eastern Dance Festival:
All persons including performers, solos, duos, groups or teachers, will be required to pay the entrance fee of R50 per day. Entrance fee for children under 12 years @ R30.00.
No person will be admitted without paying the entrance fee.
Please note that there is no charge of R50.00 for Tamalyn Dallal Performance evening on the 13th June.
Entrance fee is to assist the organizers with covering the costs of the festival.
** Please note that S.A workshops exclude Tamalyn Dallal.
