New perspective - Massage, healing and projects for 2013

It is with great joy that we have encountered new perspectives for this year - some very encouraging ideas have blossomed. Thus with the advent of 2013 we have seen a major shift in our vision for Shakti Gardens. We have been truly blessed in meeting some wonderful teachers and healers who wish to work with us in hosting workshops as well as present their healing modalities at Shakti Gardens in this coming year.

We will be continuing our healing massages, hot stone therapies, sensual healing massages, Tantra massage and Tantric teachings.

Our Yoga Classes will still be presented on Monday (with Johan) and Tuesday evenings (with Alan). Monday evenings is our Skyclad Class (clothing optional) for a mixed groups of devotees, both male and female. In this class we also delve into Tantric teachings and practices. Tuesday evenings is a class for Males only, sometimes done as partnered yoga, and also included is meditation and learning Tantric truths. Soon we hope to host a Thursday evening class (with Alan) for yoga devotees who desire to participate in a more traditional mainstream class. This will be fully clothed.

We have been encouraged to re-open our Art Workshops and this will happen as soon as possible, once we have everyone settled and their calendars sorted.

A new vision is to work with women who have survived rape and abuse. Anel will be working closely with us to present workshops and discussion groups focusing on this unique healing process.

Jean Eagle Littlestone has expressed interest in doing healing from our studio as well as presenting Ecstatic Dance on Wednesday nights.

During the last few weeks we have focussed on training and co-operating with others - we are blessed to have Shekina still working with us as our resident Dakini, presenting Tantric healing and counselling. Petra will be offering traditional deep tissue massage and hot stone therapy. Anel will be working with rape survivors and Aarti has expressed interest in learning the Ancient Sacred Sexual Healing arts alongside Shekina. Others working from Shakti Gardens will be Alan and Jean Eagle Littlestone
